You know when you are thinking about doing something but you know its going to go one way or the other? Meaning like “i could go to the party, meet some chicks - that’d be fun or i could go to the party and get in a fight with some jocks - not fun.” What to do, what to do?

I found myself in that same scenario last week or whenever the x games were. I was thinking “damn, it would be sick to go watch Pete kill it” but there is good chance it will totally suck (not being able to get in, or not being able to see, or dealing with X-Games rules and regulations, or whatever the case may be). I rolled the dice and decided id sit this one out and go skating with my friends.

After reading Chris Nieratko’s amazing editorial piece about the event. Looks like i made the right choice by not going! Thanks for the update, Chris!
